  1. On hear ing this, some of the bystanders said, "Look! He's calling for Eliyahu!"

  2. One ran and soaked a sponge in vinegar, put it on a stick and gave it to him to drink. "Wait!" he said, "Let's see if Eliyahu will come and take him down."

  12. But go and tell his talmidim, especially Kefa, that he is going to the Galil ahead of you. You will see him there, just as he told you."

  13. When Yeshua rose early Sunday, he appeared first to Miryam of Magdala, from whom he had expelled seven demons.

  14. She went and told those who had been with him, as they were crying and mourning.

  15. But when they heard that he was alive and that she had seen him, they wouldn't believe it.

  16. After that, Yeshua appeared in another form to two of them as they were walking into the country.

  17. Later, Yeshua appeared to the Eleven as they were eating, and he reproached them for their lack of trust and their spiritual insensitivity in not having believed those who had seen him after he had risen.

  18. Then he said to them, "As you go throughout the world, proclaim the Good News to all creation.

  19. And these signs will accompany those who do trust: in my name they will drive out demons, speak with new tongues,

  20. So then, after he had spoken to them, the Lord Yeshua was taken up into heaven and sat at the right hand of God.

  21. And they went out and proclaimed everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the message by the accompanying signs.

  22. he was chosen by lot (according to the custom among the cohanim) to enter the Temple and burn incense.

  23. He will go out ahead of ADONAI in the spirit and power of Eliyahu to turn the hearts of fathers to their childrena and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous, to make ready for ADONAI a people prepared."

  24. Approaching her, the angel said, "Shalom, favored lady! ADONAI is with you!"

  25. Look! You will become pregnant, you will give birth to a son, and you are to name him Yeshua.
