But they had been warned in a dream not to return to Herod, so they took another route back to their own country.
After they had gone, an angel of ADONAI appeared to Yosef in a dream and said, "Get up, take the child and his mother, and escape to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you to leave. For Herod is going to look for the child in order to kill him."
where he stayed until Herod died. This happened in order to fulfill what ADONAI had said through the prophet, "Out of Egypt I called my son."

Yeshua replied to him, "But it also says, `Do not put ADONAI your God to the test.'"h
"Away with you, Satan!" Yeshua told him, "For the Tanakh says, `Worship ADONAI your God, and serve only him.'"
"How blessed are the pure in heart! for they will see God.
"How blessed are those who make peace! for they will be called sons of God.
In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.
But I tell you not to swear at all -- not `by heaven,' because it is God's throne;
not `by the earth,' because it is his footstool;p and not `by Yerushalayim,' because it is the city of the Great King.
Then you will become children of your Father in heaven. For he makes his sun shine on good and bad people alike, and he sends rain to the righteous and the unrighteous alike.
Therefore, be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
"Be careful not to parade your acts of tzedakah in front of people in order to be seen by them! If you do, you have no reward from your Father in heaven.
Then your tzedakah will be in secret; and your Father, who sees what you do in secret, will reward you.
But you, when you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. Your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
Don't be like them, because your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
You, therefore, pray like this: `Our Father in heaven! May your Name be kept holy.
