  1. Hear this, you who trample the needy, who do away with the poor of the land,

  2. asking, “When will the New Moon be over, that we may sell grain? When will the Sabbath end, that we may market wheat? Let us reduce the ephah and increase the shekel; let us cheat with dishonest scales.

  3. Let us buy the poor with silver and the needy for a pair of sandals, selling even the chaff with the wheat!”

  4. I saw the Lord standing beside the altar, and He said: “Strike the tops of the pillars so that the thresholds shake. Topple them on the heads of all the people, and I will kill the rest with the sword. None of those who flee will get away; none of the fugitives will escape.

  5. Then the LORD answered me: “Write down this vision and clearly inscribe it on tablets, so that a herald may run with it.

  6. I looked out into the night and saw a man riding on a red horse. He was standing among the myrtle trees in the hollow, and behind him were red, sorrel, and white horses.

  7. Then the angel showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, with Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him.

  8. “What do you see?” he asked. “I see a solid gold lampstand,” I replied, “with a bowl at the top and seven lamps on it, with seven spouts to the lamps.

  9. “What do you see?” asked the angel. “I see a flying scroll,” I replied, “twenty cubits long and ten cubits wide.”

  10. And again I lifted up my eyes and saw four chariots coming out from between two mountains—mountains of bronze.

  11. Just then an angel of the Lord appeared to Zechariah, standing at the right side of the altar of incense.

  12. When he came out and was unable to speak to them, they realized he had seen a vision in the temple. He kept making signs to them but remained speechless.

  13. but they did not find His body. They came and told us they had seen a vision of angels, who said that Jesus was alive.

  14. After forty years had passed, an angel appeared to Moses in the flames of a burning bush in the desert near Mount Sinai.

  16. ‘I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.’ Moses trembled with fear and did not dare to look.

  17. As Saul drew near to Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.

  18. “Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

  19. In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias. The Lord spoke to him in a vision, “Ananias!” “Here I am, Lord,” he answered.

  20. “Get up!” the Lord told him. “Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying.

  21. In a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on him to restore his sight.”

  22. One day at about the ninth hour, he had a clear vision of an angel of God who came to him and said, “Cornelius!”

  23. The next day at about the sixth hour, as the men were approaching the city on their journey, Peter went up on the roof to pray.

  24. He became hungry and wanted something to eat, but while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance.

  25. He saw heaven open and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners.
