  1. And the breadth of the court on the east side eastward shall be fifty cubits.

  2. The hangings for the one side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.

  3. And for the other side shall be hangings of fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.

  4. And for the gate of the court shall be a screen of twenty cubits, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of the embroiderer; their pillars four, and their sockets four.

  8. And he coupled five curtains one to another: and the other five curtains he coupled one to another.

  9. And he made loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling: likewise he made in the edge of the curtain that was outmost in the second coupling.

  10. Fifty loops made he in the one curtain, and fifty loops made he in the edge of the curtain that was in the second coupling: the loops were opposite one to another.

  11. And he made fifty clasps of gold, and coupled the curtains one to another with the clasps: so the tabernacle was one.

  12. And he made curtains of goats’hairfor a tent over the tabernacle: eleven curtains he made them.

  13. The length of each curtain was thirty cubits, and four cubits the breadth of each curtain: the eleven curtains had one measure.

  14. And he coupled five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves.

  15. And he made fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that was outmost in the coupling, and fifty loops made he upon the edge of the curtain which was outmost in the second coupling.

  16. And he made fifty clasps of brass to couple the tent together, that it might be one.

  17. And they did beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it into wires, to work it in the blue, and in the purple, and in the scarlet, and in the fine linen, the work of the skilful workman.

  18. And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were in the house of Jehovah, where the women wove hangings for the Asherah.

  19. There were hangings of white cloth, of green, and of blue, fastened with cords of fine linen and purple to silver rings and pillars of marble: the couches were of gold and silver, upon a pavement of red, and white, and yellow, and black marble.

  20. I have spread my couch with carpets of tapestry, With striped cloths of the yarn of Egypt.
