  1. Then saith Jesus unto them, Fear not: go tell my brethren that they depart into Galilee, and there shall they see me.

  2. for they all saw him, and were troubled. But he straightway spake with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.

  19. And ye therefore now have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no one taketh away from you.

  20. These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

  21. Peter therefore was kept in the prison: but prayer was made earnestly of the church unto God for him.

  22. And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer: for as thou hast testified concerning me at Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.

  23. And not only so, but we also rejoice in our tribulations: knowing that tribulation worketh stedfastness;

  24. and stedfastness, approvedness; and approvedness, hope:

  25. and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him.
