  1. for yet ye are fleshly, for where there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not fleshly, and in the manner of men do walk?

  2. have ye not known that the unrighteous the reign of God shall not inherit? be not led astray; neither whoremongers, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor sodomites,

  3. nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, the reign of God shall inherit.

  4. And certain of you were these! but ye were washed, but ye were sanctified, but ye were declared righteous, in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

  5. for I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I did persecute the assembly of God,

  6. And manifest also are the works of the flesh, which are: Adultery, whoredom, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

  7. idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, strifes, emulations, wraths, rivalries, dissensions, sects,

  8. envyings, murders, drunkennesses, revellings, and such like, of which I tell you before, as I also said before, that those doing such things the reign of God shall not inherit.

  9. Be not led astray; God is not mocked; for what a man may sow--that also he shall reap,

  10. because he who is sowing to his own flesh, of the flesh shall reap corruption; and he who is sowing to the Spirit, of the Spirit shall reap life age-during;

  11. Be confessing to one another the trespasses, and be praying for one another, that ye may be healed; very strong is a working supplication of a righteous man;

  12. for sufficient to us is the past time of life the will of the nations to have wrought, having walked in lasciviousnesses, desires, excesses of wines, revellings, drinking-bouts, and unlawful idolatries,

  13. if we may say--`we have not sin,' ourselves we lead astray, and the truth is not in us;

  14. if we may confess our sins, stedfast He is and righteous that He may forgive us the sins, and may cleanse us from every unrighteousness;

  15. if we may say--`we have not sinned,' a liar we make Him, and His word is not in us.
