  1. for ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you jealousy and strife, are ye not carnal, and do ye not walk after the manner of men?

  2. Or know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with men,

  3. nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

  4. And such were some of you: but ye were washed, but ye were sanctified, but ye were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.

  5. For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

  6. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these: fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

  7. idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousies, wraths, factions, divisions, parties,

  8. envyings, drunkenness, revellings, and such like; of which I forewarn you, even as I did forewarn you, that they who practise such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

  9. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

  10. For he that soweth unto his own flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth unto the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap eternal life.

  11. Confess therefore your sins one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The supplication of a righteous man availeth much in its working.

  12. For the time past may suffice to have wrought the desire of the Gentiles, and to have walked in lasciviousness, lusts, winebibbings, revellings, carousings, and abominable idolatries:

  13. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

  14. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

  15. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
