  1. “Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth. Put away the gods which your fathers served beyond the River, in Egypt; and serve the LORD.

  17. I speak not by way of commandment, but as proving through the earnestness of others the sincerity also of your love.

  18. Therefore show the proof of your love to them in front of the assemblies, and of our boasting on your behalf.

  19. Servants, be obedient to those who according to the flesh are your masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Messiah;

  20. not in the way of service only when eyes are on you, as men pleasers; but as servants of Messiah, doing the will of God from the heart;

  21. with good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men;

  22. Grace be with all those who love our Lord Yeshua the Messiah with incorruptible love. Amen.

  23. so that you may approve the things that are excellent; that you may be sincere and without offense to the day of Messiah;

  24. The former insincerely proclaim Messiah from selfish ambition, thinking that they add affliction to my chains;

  25. For our exhortation is not of error, nor of uncleanness, nor in deception.
