  1. You shall overlay it with pure gold. You shall overlay it inside and outside, and you shall make a gold molding around it.

  2. You shall cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in its four feet. Two rings shall be on the one side of it, and two rings on the other side of it.

  9. and the cups, and the snuffers, and the basins, and the spoons, and the fire pans, of pure gold; and the hinges, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, of the temple, of gold.

  10. Thus all the work that king Solomon worked in the LORD’s house was finished. Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated, the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, and put them in the treasuries of the LORD’s house.

  11. Solomon made all the vessels that were in God’s house, the golden altar also, and the tables with the show bread on them;

  12. and the lamp stands with their lamps, to burn according to the ordinance before the oracle, of pure gold;

  13. and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold, and that perfect gold;

  14. and the snuffers, and the basins, and the spoons, and the fire pans, of pure gold: and as for the entry of the house, the inner doors of it for the most holy place, and the doors of the main hall of the temple were of gold.

  15. and weighed to them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, even the offering for the house of our God, which the king, and his counselors, and his princes, and all Israel there present, had offered:

  16. I weighed into their hand six hundred fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels one hundred talents; of gold one hundred talents;

  17. and twenty bowls of gold, of one thousand darics; and two vessels of fine bright brass, precious as gold.

  18. I said to them, “You are holy to the LORD, and the vessels are holy; and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering to the LORD, the God of your fathers.

  19. As for this image, its head was of fine gold, its breast and its arms of silver, its belly and its thighs of brass,

  20. its legs of iron, its feet part of iron, and part of clay.

  21. You saw until a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet that were of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces.

  22. Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken in pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, so that no place was found for them: and the stone that struck the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

  23. This is the dream; and we will tell its interpretation before the king.

  24. You, O king, are king of kings, to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom, the power, and the strength, and the glory;

  25. and wherever the children of men dwell, the animals of the field and the birds of the sky has he given into your hand, and has made you to rule over them all: you are the head of gold.
