  1. Therefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you will hear his voice,

  2. don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, like as in the day of the trial in the wilderness,

  3. Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

  4. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings.

  5. Therefore, brothers, be more diligent to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never stumble.

  6. For thus you will be richly supplied with the entrance into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Yeshua the Messiah.

  7. You therefore, beloved, knowing these things beforehand, beware, lest being carried away with the error of the wicked, you fall from your own steadfastness.

  8. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Yeshua the Messiah. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

  9. But you, beloved, keep building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.

  11. Don’t be afraid of the things which you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested; and you will have oppression for ten days. Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life.

  12. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. He who overcomes won’t be harmed by the second death.

  13. Nevertheless, hold that which you have firmly until I come.

  14. He who overcomes, and he who keeps my works to the end, to him I will give authority over the nations.

  15. I am coming quickly! Hold firmly that which you have, so that no one takes your crown.

  16. He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will go out from there no more. I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God, and my own new name.
