Another of his disciples said to him, “Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father.”

But Yeshua said to him, “Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead.”

He said to another, “Follow me!” But he said, “Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father.”

But Yeshua said to him, “Leave the dead to bury their own dead, but you go and announce the Kingdom of God.”

Another also said, “I want to follow you, Lord, but first allow me to say good-bye to those who are at my house.”

But Yeshua said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the Kingdom of God.”

As therefore you received Messiah Yeshua, the Lord, walk in him,

rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, even as you were taught, abounding in it in thanksgiving.

But you, man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and gentleness.

Fight the good fight of faith. Lay hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you confessed the good confession in the sight of many witnesses.

I command you before God, who gives life to all things, and before Messiah Yeshua, who before Pontius Pilate testified the good confession,

that you keep the commandment without spot, blameless, until the appearing of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah;
