  1. Therefore, as the Ruach HaKodesh says, “Today, if you hear God’s voice,

  2. don’t harden your hearts, as you did in the Bitter Quarrel on that day in the Wilderness when you put God to the test.

  3. Stay sober, stay alert! Your enemy, the Adversary, stalks about like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

  4. Stand against him, firm in your trust, knowing that your brothers throughout the world are going through the same kinds of suffering.

  5. Therefore, brothers, try even harder to make your being called and chosen a certainty. For if you keep doing this, you will never stumble.

  6. Thus you will be generously supplied with everything you need to enter the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Deliverer, Yeshua the Messiah.

  7. But you, dear friends, since you know this in advance, guard yourselves; so that you will not be led away by the errors of the wicked and fall from your own secure position.

  8. And keep growing in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Deliverer, Yeshua the Messiah. To him be the glory, both now and forever! Amen.

  9. But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith, and pray in union with the Ruach HaKodesh.

  10. Thus keep yourselves in God’s love, as you wait for our Lord Yeshua the Messiah to give you the mercy that leads to eternal life.

  11. Don’t be afraid of what you are about to suffer. Look, the Adversary is going to have some of you thrown in prison, in order to put you to the test; and you will face an ordeal for ten days. Remain faithful, even to the point of death; and I will give you life as your crown.

  12. Those who have ears, let them hear what the Spirit is saying to the Messianic communities. He who wins the victory will not be hurt at all by the second death.”’

  14. To him who wins the victory and does what I want until the goal is reached, I will give him authority over the nations;

  15. I am coming soon; hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown.

  16. I will make him who wins the victory a pillar in the Temple of my God, and he will never leave it. Also I will write on him the name of my God and the name of my God’s city, the new Yerushalayim coming down out of heaven from my God, and my own new name.
