  7. The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews who lived in the land of Egypt, who lived at Migdol, and at Tahpanhes, and at Memphis, and in the country of Pathros, saying,

  8. Then all the men who knew that their wives burned incense to other gods, and all the women who stood by, a great assembly, even all the people who lived in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying,

  9. Then Jeremiah said to all the people, to the men, and to the women, even to all the people who had given him an answer, saying,

  10. Moreover Jeremiah said to all the people, and to all the women, Hear the LORD’s word, all Judah who are in the land of Egypt:

  11. The message that Jeremiah the prophet spoke to Baruch the son of Neriah, when he wrote these words in a book at the mouth of Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, saying,

  12. the LORD’s word which came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning the nations.

  13. The word that the LORD spoke to Jeremiah the prophet, how that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon should come and strike the land of Egypt.

  14. the LORD’s word that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning the Philistines, before that Pharaoh struck Gaza.

  15. the LORD’s word that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning Elam, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying,

  16. The word that the LORD spoke concerning Babylon, concerning the land of the Kasdim, by Jeremiah the prophet.

  17. The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah to Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. Now Seraiah was chief quartermaster.

  18. Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come on Babylon, even all these words that are written concerning Babylon.

  19. Jeremiah said to Seraiah, When you come to Babylon, then see that you read all these words,

  20. and you shall say, Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise again because of the evil that I will bring on her; and they shall be weary. Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.

  21. in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years about which the LORD’s word came to Jeremiah the prophet, for the accomplishing of the desolations of Jerusalem, even seventy years.

  22. Then that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled, saying,

  23. They said, “Some say Yochanan the Immerser, some, Elijah, and others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.”
