  1. And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.

  11. But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.

  12. And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said.

  13. While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud.

  14. And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

  15. And when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept it close, and told no man in those days any of those things which they had seen.

  16. And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.

  17. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.

  18. And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

  19. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

  20. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

  21. And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
