  1. And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.

  11. And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

  12. Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

  13. And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

  14. And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.

  15. And finding disciples, we tarried there seven days: who said to Paul through the Spirit, that he should not go up to Jerusalem.

  16. And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judaea a certain prophet, named Agabus.

  17. And when he was come unto us, he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.

  18. And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,

  19. ¶ Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,

  20. (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)

  21. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

  22. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

  23. To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

  24. To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

  25. But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
