  15. To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;

  16. The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,

  17. That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,

  18. In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

  19. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

  20. Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

  21. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.

  22. Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,

  23. And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.

  24. I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

  25. Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
