  1. Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

  2. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

  3. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

  4. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

  5. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

  6. To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

  7. To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

  8. But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

  9. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

  10. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

  11. But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,

  12. In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;

  13. By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,

  14. This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

  15. Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

  16. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

  17. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

  18. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

  19. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

  20. Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

  21. That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

  22. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

  23. Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

  24. Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

  25. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
