  1. Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.

  2. They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:

  3. But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.

  4. The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.

  7. And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

  8. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

  9. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

  10. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

  11. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

  12. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

  13. And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

  14. But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

  15. And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

  16. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

  17. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

  18. Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:

  19. So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.

  20. Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.

  21. Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

  22. But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

  23. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

  24. For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.

  25. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
