  1. And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man.

  2. If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

  3. But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.

  4. If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.

  5. And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;

  6. If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.

  8. But if ye will not hear these words, I swear by myself, saith the LORD, that this house shall become a desolation.

  9. Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;

  10. If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.

  11. None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.

  12. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

  13. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

  14. In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

  15. If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

  16. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

  17. Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

  18. And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
