  1. But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night;

  2. The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

  3. And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

  4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

  11. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

  12. The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

  13. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.

  14. The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.

  15. The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.

  16. The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.

  17. Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.

  19. And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

  20. Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

  21. ¶ Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?

  22. When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.

  25. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
