  1. ¶ Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

  2. Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

  3. Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

  4. Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

  5. What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.

  6. Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

  7. Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

  8. And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.

  9. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

  10. Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

  11. ¶ This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

  12. Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

  13. But ye have not so learned Christ;

  14. ¶ But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

  15. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

  16. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

  17. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

  18. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

  19. ¶ Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

  20. For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:

  21. That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;

  22. Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:

  23. For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

  24. Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

  25. For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
