And when we had sailed slowly many days, and scarce were come over against Cnidus, the wind not suffering us, we sailed under Crete, over against Salmone;
¶ The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
¶ Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

¶ For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:
¶ And because the haven was not commodious to winter in, the more part advised to depart thence also, if by any means they might attain to Phenice, [and there] to winter; [which is] an haven of Crete, and lieth toward the south west and north west.
And when the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained [their] purpose, loosing [thence], they sailed close by Crete.
Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
Now when we had discovered Cyprus, we left it on the left hand, and sailed into Syria, and landed at Tyre: for there the ship was to unlade her burden.

And they that conducted Paul brought him unto Athens: and receiving a commandment unto Silas and Timotheus for to come to him with all speed, they departed.
¶ Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me:
And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you. Amen.
Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Behold, I come quickly: blessed [is] he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward [is] with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
¶ He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
