  1. Let vs goe foorth to him therefore out of the campe, bearing his reproch.

  2. And let patience haue her perfect worke, that ye may be perfect and entier, lacking nothing.

  3. Blessed is ye man, that endureth tentation: for when he is tried, hee shall receiue the crowne of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that loue him.

  11. Be sober, and watch: for your aduersarie the deuil as a roaring lyon walketh about, seeking whom he may deuoure:

  12. Wherefore, brethren, giue rather diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye doe these things, ye shall neuer fall.

  13. For by this meanes an entring shalbe ministred vnto you aboundantly into the euerlasting kingdome of our Lord and Sauiour Iesus Christ.

  14. Ye therefore beloued, seeing ye know these thinges before, beware, lest ye be also plucked away with the errour of the wicked, and fall from your owne stedfastnesse.

  15. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Sauiour Iesus Christ: to him be glory both now and for euermore. Amen.

  19. Feare none of those things, which thou shalt suffer: beholde, it shall come to passe, that the deuill shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tryed, and ye shall haue tribulation tenne dayes: be thou faithfull vnto the death, and I will giue thee the crowne of life.

  21. Let him that hath an eare, heare what the Spirite saith vnto the Churches. To him that ouercommeth, will I giue to eate of the Manna that is hid, and will giue him a white stone, and in the stone a newe name written, which no man knoweth sauing he that receiueth it.

  22. But that which ye haue alreadie, hold fast till I come.

  23. For he that ouercommeth and keepeth my workes vnto the end, to him will I giue power ouer nations,

  24. And he shall rule them with a rodde of yron: and as the vessels of a potter, shall they be broken.

  25. Euen as I receiued of my Father, so will I giue him the morning starre.
