Conquest of Canaan
Joshua leads Israel across the Jordan into the promised land, defeating the Canaanite kingdoms one by one.

And the border of the children of Reuben was Iorden with the coastes. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben according to their families, with the cities and their villages.

Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh the Kenezite, vnto this day: because he followed constantly the Lord God of Israel.
