Who are Israelites: to whom belongeth the adoption as of children and the glory and the testament and the giving of the law and the service of God and the promises:

That is to say, not they that are the children of the flesh are the children of God: but they that are the children of the promise are accounted for the seed.

For I say that Christ Jesus was minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:

For all the promises of God are in him, It is. Therefore also by him, amen to God, unto our glory.

And I will receive you. And will be a Father to you: and you shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Why then was the law? It was set because of transgressions, until the seed should come to whom he made the promise, being ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

Was the law then against the promises of God: God forbid! For if there had been a law given which could give life, verily justice should have been by the law.

But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise, by the faith of Jesus Christ, might be given to them that believe.

And if you be Christ's, then are you the seed of Abraham, heirs according to the promise.

But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent his Son, made of a woman, made under the law:

Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.

In whom you also, after you had heard the word of truth (the gospel of your salvation), in whom also believing, you were signed with the holy Spirit of promise.

That you were at that time without Christ, being aliens from the conversation of Israel and strangers to the testament, having no hope of the promise and without God in this world.

For bodily exercise is profitable to little: but godliness is profitable to all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.
