  1. For this cause, God delivered them up to shameful affections. For their women have changed the natural use into that use which is against nature.

  2. And, in like manner, the men also, leaving the natural use of the women, have burned in their lusts, one towards another: men with men, working that which is filthy and receiving in themselves the recompense which was due to their error.

  3. And as they liked not to have God in their knowledge, God delivered them up to a reprobate sense, to do those things which are not convenient.

  4. Being filled with all iniquity, malice, fornication, avarice, wickedness: full of envy, murder, contention, deceit, malignity: whisperers,

  5. Know you not that the unjust shall not possess the kingdom of God? Do not err: Neither fornicators nor idolaters nor adulterers:

  6. Nor the effeminate nor liers with mankind nor thieves nor covetous nor drunkards nor railers nor extortioners shall possess the kingdom of God.

  7. Know you not that your bodies are the members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid!

  8. Or know you not that he who is joined to a harlot is made one body? For they shall be, saith he, two in one flesh.

  9. But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.

  10. Fly fornication. Every sin that a man doth is without the body: but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

  11. Now the works of the flesh are manifest: which are fornication, uncleanness, immodesty, luxury,

  12. Idolatry, witchcrafts, enmities, contentions, emulations, wraths, quarrels, dissensions, sects,

  13. Envies, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like. Of the which I foretell you, as I have foretold to you, that they who do such things shall not obtain the kingdom of God.

  14. This then I say and testify in the Lord: That henceforward you walk not as also the Gentiles walk in the vanity of their mind:

  15. Having their understanding darkened: being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their hearts.

  16. Who despairing have given themselves up to lasciviousness, unto the working of all uncleanness, unto covetousness.

  17. That now he may live the rest of his time in the flesh, not after the desires of men but according to the will of God.

  18. For the time past is sufficient to have fulfilled the will of the Gentiles, for them who have walked in riotousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings and unlawful worshipping of idols.
