  1. For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature.

  2. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error.

  3. Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

  4. being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, malice; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil habits, secret slanderers,

  5. Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals,

  6. nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit the Kingdom of God.

  7. Don’t you know that your bodies are members of Messiah? Shall I then take the members of Messiah, and make them members of a prostitute? May it never be!

  8. Or don’t you know that he who is joined to a prostitute is one body? For, “The two”, he says, “will become one flesh.”

  9. But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.

  10. Flee sexual immorality! “Every sin that a man does is outside the body,” but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

  11. Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness,

  12. idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies,

  13. envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

  14. This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind,

  15. being darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their hearts;

  16. who having become callous gave themselves up to lust, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

  17. that you no longer should live the rest of your time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.

  18. For we have spent enough of our past time doing the desire of the Gentiles, and having walked in lewdness, lusts, drunken binges, orgies, carousings, and abominable idolatries.
