  1. A foolish woman and clamorous, and full of allurements, and knowing nothing at all,

  2. Sat at the door of her house, upon a seat, in a high place of the city,

  3. To call them that pass by the way, and go on their journey:

  4. He that is a little one, let him turn to me. And to the fool she said:

  6. And he did not know that giants are there, and that her guests are in the depths of hell.

  7. Withhold not correction from a child: for if thou strike him with the rod, he shall not die.

  8. Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and deliver his soul from hell.

  9. And if thy right eye scandalize thee, pluck it out and cast it from thee. For it is expedient for thee that one of thy members should perish, rather than thy whole body be cast into hell.

  10. And if thy right hand scandalize thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is expedient for thee that one of thy members should perish, rather than that thy whole body go into hell.

  11. Enter ye in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there are who go in thereat.

  12. How narrow is the gate, and strait is the way that leadeth to life: and few there are that find it!

  13. And I say to you that many shall come from the east and the west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven:

  14. But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into the exterior darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

  15. And the field is the world. And the good seed are the children of the kingdom. And the cockle are the children of the wicked one.

  16. And the enemy that sowed them, is the devil. But the harvest is the end of the world. And the reapers are the angels.

  17. Even as cockle therefore is gathered up, and burnt with fire: so shall it be at the end of the world.

  18. The Son of man shall send his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all scandals, and them that work iniquity.

  19. And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

  20. So shall it be at the end of the world. The angels shall go out, and shall separate the wicked from among the just.

  22. And if thy hand, or thy foot, scandalize thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee. It is better for thee to go into life maimed or lame, than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into everlasting fire.

  23. And if thy eye scandalize thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee. It is better for thee having one eye to enter into life, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.

  24. And his lord being angry, delivered him to the torturers until he paid all the debt.

  25. So also shall my heavenly Father do to you, if you forgive not every one his brother from your hearts.
