Bible Verses About Faith
Key Bible Verses
Come to me all you that labor and are burdened, and I will refresh you.
Take up my yoke upon you, and learn of me, because I am meek, and humble of heart: And you shall find rest to your souls.
For my yoke is sweet and my burden light.
Who answering, said: It is not good to take the bread of the children, and to cast it to the dogs.
But she said: Yea, Lord; for the whelps also eat of the crumbs that fall from the table of their masters.
Then Jesus answering, said to her: O woman, great is thy faith: be it done to thee as thou wilt: and her daughter was cured from that hour.
Then came the disciples to Jesus secretly, and said: Why could not we cast him out?
Jesus said to them: Because of your unbelief. For, amen I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain: Remove from hence hither, and it shall remove: and nothing shall be impossible to you.
But this kind is not cast out but by prayer and fasting.
And Jesus answering, said to them: Amen, I say to you, if you shall have faith and stagger not, not only this of the fig tree shall you do, but also if you shall say to this mountain, Take up and cast thyself into the sea, it shall be done.
And all things whatsoever you shall ask in prayer believing, you shall receive.
Who said to her: suffer first the children to be filled: for it is not good to take the bread of the children and cast it to the dogs.
But she answered and said to him: Yea, Lord; for the whelps also eat under the table of the crumbs of the children.
And he said to her: For this saying, go thy way. The devil is gone out of thy daughter.
And when she was come into her house, she found the girl lying upon the bed and that the devil was gone out.
And immediately the father of the boy crying out, with tears said: I do believe, Lord. Help my unbelief.
And when Jesus saw the multitude running together, he threatened the unclean spirit, saying to him: Deaf and dumb spirit, I command thee, go out of him and enter not any more into him.
Amen I say to you that whosoever shall say to this mountain, Be thou removed and be cast into the sea, and shall not stagger in his heart, but be believe that whatsoever he saith shall be done; it shall be done unto him.
Therefore I say unto you, all things, whatsoever you ask when ye pray, believe that you shall receive: and they shall come unto you.
And why call you me, Lord, Lord; and do not the things which I say?
Every one that cometh to me and heareth my words and doth them, I will shew you to whom he is like.
He is like to a man building a house, who digged deep and laid the foundation upon a rock. And when a flood came, the stream beat vehemently upon that house: and it could not shake it: for it was founded on a rock.
But he that heareth and doth not is like to a man building his house upon the earth without a foundation: against which the stream beat vehemently. And immediately it fell: and the ruin of that house was great.
And when he had heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the ancients of the Jews, desiring him to come and heal his servant.
And when they came to Jesus, they besought him earnestly, saying to him: He is worthy that thou shouldest do this for him.
