  2. take up my yoke upon you, and learn from me, because I am meek and humble in heart, and ye shall find rest to your souls,

  3. for my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.'

  7. and Jesus rebuked him, and the demon went out of him, and the lad was healed from that hour.

  8. Then the disciples having come to Jesus by himself, said, `Wherefore were we not able to cast him out?'

  9. And Jesus said to them, `Through your want of faith; for verily I say to you, if ye may have faith as a grain of mustard, ye shall say to this mount, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible to you,

  10. And Jesus answering said to them, `Verily I say to you, If ye may have faith, and may not doubt, not only this of the fig-tree shall ye do, but even if to this mount ye may say, Be lifted up and be cast into the sea, it shall come to pass;

  11. and all--as much as ye may ask in the prayer, believing, ye shall receive.'

  12. And Jesus said to her, `Suffer first the children to be filled, for it is not good to take the children's bread, and to cast it to the little dogs.'

  13. And she answered and saith to him, `Yes, sir; for the little dogs also under the table do eat of the children's crumbs.'

  14. And he said to her, `Because of this word go; the demon hath gone forth out of thy daughter;'

  15. and having come away to her house, she found the demon gone forth, and the daughter laid upon the couch.

  16. And Jesus said to him, `If thou art able to believe! all things are possible to the one that is believing;'

  17. and immediately the father of the child, having cried out, with tears said, `I believe, sir; be helping mine unbelief.'

  18. for verily I say to you, that whoever may say to this mount, Be taken up, and be cast into the sea, and may not doubt in his heart, but may believe that the things that he saith do come to pass, it shall be to him whatever he may say.

  19. Because of this I say to you, all whatever--praying--ye do ask, believe that ye receive, and it shall be to you.

  20. `And why do ye call me, Lord, Lord, and do not what I say?

  21. Every one who is coming unto me, and is hearing my words, and is doing them, I will shew you to whom he is like;

  22. he is like to a man building a house, who did dig, and deepen, and laid a foundation upon the rock, and a flood having come, the stream broke forth on that house, and was not able to shake it, for it had been founded upon the rock.

  23. `And he who heard and did not, is like to a man having builded a house upon the earth, without a foundation, against which the stream brake forth, and immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house became great.'

  24. and having heard about Jesus, he sent unto him elders of the Jews, beseeching him, that having come he might thoroughly save his servant.

  25. And they, having come near unto Jesus, were calling upon him earnestly, saying--`He is worthy to whom thou shalt do this,
