Another reason we regularly thank God is that when you heard the Word of God from us, you received it not merely as a human word, but as it truly is, God’s Word, which is at work in you believers.
and recalling too how from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which can give you the wisdom that leads to deliverance through trusting in Yeshua the Messiah.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is valuable for teaching the truth, convicting of sin, correcting faults and training in right living;

See, the Word of God is alive! It is at work and is sharper than any double-edged sword — it cuts right through to where soul meets spirit and joints meet marrow, and it is quick to judge the inner reflections and attitudes of the heart.
Having made his decision, he gave birth to us through a Word that can be relied upon, in order that we should be a kind of firstfruits of all that he created.
So rid yourselves of all vulgarity and obvious evil, and receive meekly the Word implanted in you that can save your lives.
Don’t deceive yourselves by only hearing what the Word says, but do it!
For whoever hears the Word but doesn’t do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror,
But if a person looks closely into the perfect Torah, which gives freedom, and continues, becoming not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work it requires, then he will be blessed in what he does.
