Bible Verses About Faith
Key Bible Verses
For even if the fig tree doesn't blossom, and no fruit is on the vines, even if the olive tree fails to produce, and the fields yield no food at all, even if the sheep vanish from the sheep pen, and there are no cows in the stalls;
still, I will rejoice in ADONAI, I will take joy in the God of my salvation.
ELOHIM Adonai is my strength! He makes me swift and sure-footed as a deer and enables me to stride over my high places. For the leader. With my stringed instruments.
On that day, it will be said to Yerushalayim, "Do not fear, Tziyon! don't let your hands droop down.
ADONAI your God is right there with you, as a mighty savior. He will rejoice over you and be glad, he will be silent in his love, he will shout over you with joy."
"Therefore, I tell you, don't wor y about your life -- what you will eat or drink; or about your body -- what you will wear. Isn't life more than food and the body more than clothing?
Look at the birds flying about! They neither plant nor harvest, nor do they gather food into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you worth more than they are?
Can any of you by worrying add a single hour to his life?
"And why be anxious about clothing? Think about the fields of wild irises, and how they grow. They neither work nor spin thread,
yet I tell you that not even Shlomo in all his glory was clothed as beautifully as one of these.
If this is how God clothes grass in the field -- which is here today and gone tomorrow, thrown in an oven -- won't he much more clothe you? What little trust you have!
"So don't be anxious, asking, `What will we eat?,' `What will we drink?' or `How will we be clothed?'
For it is the pagans who set their hearts on all these things. Your heavenly Father knows you need them all.
But seek first his Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Don't wor y about tomorrow -- tomorrow will worry about itself! Today has enough tsuris already!
"So, everyone who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a sensible man who built his house on bedrock.
The rain fell, the rivers flooded, the winds blew and beat against that house, but it didn't collapse, because its foundation was on rock.
As Yeshua entered K'far-Nachum, a Roman army officer came up and pleaded for help.
"Sir, my orderly is lying at home paralyzed and suffering terribly!"
Yeshua said, "I will go and heal him."
But the officer answered, "Sir, I am unfit to have you come into my home. Rather, if you will only give the command, my orderly will recover.
For I too am a man under authority. I have soldiers under me, and I say to this one, `Go!' and he goes; to another, `Come!' and he comes; to my slave, `Do this!' and he does it."
On hearing this Yeshua was amazed and said to the people following him, "Yes! I tell you, I have not found anyone in Isra'el with such trust!
Then he touched their eyes and said, "Let it happen to you according to your trust";
and their sight was restored. Yeshua warned them severely, "See that no one knows about it."
