  9. And now that the LORD your God has given your brothers rest as He promised them, you may return to your homes in the land that Moses the servant of the LORD gave you across the Jordan.

  10. Now behold, today I am going the way of all the earth, and you know with all your heart and soul that not one of the good promises the LORD your God made to you has failed. Everything was fulfilled for you; not one promise has failed.

  11. And when your days are fulfilled and you rest with your fathers, I will raise up your descendant after you, who will come from your own body, and I will establish his kingdom.

  12. He will build a house for My Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

  13. “Blessed be the LORD, who has given rest to His people Israel according to all that He promised. Not one word has failed of all the good promises He made through His servant Moses.

  14. And now, O LORD, let the word You have spoken concerning Your servant and his house be established forever. Do as You have promised,

  15. And now, O LORD, You are God! And You have promised this goodness to Your servant.

  16. Is His loving devotion gone forever? Has His promise failed for all time?

  17. So I said, “I am grieved that the right hand of the Most High has changed.”

  18. You said, “I have made a covenant with My chosen one, I have sworn to David My servant:

  19. ‘I will establish your offspring forever and build up your throne for all generations.’” Selah

  20. Once and for all I have sworn by My holiness— I will not lie to David—

  21. his offspring shall endure forever, and his throne before Me like the sun,

  22. For He remembered His holy promise to Abraham His servant.

  23. “Come now, let us reason together,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are as red as crimson, they will become like wool.

  24. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you go through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched; the flames will not set you ablaze.

  25. Remind Me, let us argue the matter together. State your case, so that you may be vindicated.
