  1. Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men.

  2. For I did not shrink back from declaring to you the whole will of God.

  3. Keep watch over yourselves and the entire flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which He purchased with His own blood.

  4. I know that after my departure, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock.

  5. Even from your own number, men will rise up and distort the truth to draw away disciples after them.

  6. Therefore be alert and remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears.

  7. And now I commit you to God and to the word of His grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all who are sanctified.

  8. I have not coveted anyone’s silver or gold or clothing.

  9. You yourselves know that these hands of mine have ministered to my own needs and those of my companions.

  10. In everything, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words of the Lord Jesus Himself: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

  11. When Paul had said this, he knelt down with all of them and prayed.

  12. They all wept openly as they embraced Paul and kissed him.

  13. They were especially grieved by his statement that they would never see his face again. Then they accompanied him to the ship.

  14. “To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These are the words of Him who holds the seven stars in His right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands.

  15. I know your deeds, your labor, and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate those who are evil, and you have tested and exposed as liars those who falsely claim to be apostles.

  16. Without growing weary, you have persevered and endured many things for the sake of My name.

  17. But I have this against you: You have abandoned your first love.

  18. Therefore, keep in mind how far you have fallen. Repent and perform the deeds you did at first. But if you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.

  19. But you have this to your credit: You hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

  20. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who overcomes, I will grant the right to eat from the tree of life in the Paradise of God.
