  14. And Jesus said to him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

  15. Jesus answered, “If you knew the gift of God and who is asking you for a drink, you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”

  16. But whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a fount of water springing up to eternal life.”

  17. We know that God does not listen to sinners, but He does listen to the one who worships Him and does His will.
