And the servants also of Huram, and the servants of Solomon, that brought gold from Ophir, brought algum-trees and precious stones.
And the king made of the algum-trees terraces for the house of Jehovah, and for the king’s house, and harps and psalteries for the singers: and there were none such seen before in the land of Judah.
And they took fortified cities, and a fat land, and possessed houses full of all good things, cisterns hewn out, vineyards, and oliveyards, and fruit-trees in abundance: so they did eat, and were filled, and became fat, and delighted themselves in thy great goodness.
For there is hope of a tree, If it be cut down, that it will sprout again, And that the tender branch thereof will not cease.
He lieth under the lotus-trees, In the covert of the reed, and the fen.
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, Nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of scoffers:
But his delight is in the law of Jehovah; And on his law doth he meditate day and night.

Mountains and all hills; Fruitful trees and all cedars;
She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: And happy is every one that retaineth her.
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; And he that is wise winneth souls.
A gentle tongue is a tree of life; But perverseness therein is a breaking of the spirit.
I made me gardens and parks, and I planted trees in them of all kinds of fruit;
yea, they shall be afraid of that which is high, and terrors shall be in the way; and the almond-tree shall blossom, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail; because man goeth to his everlasting home, and the mourners go about the streets:

And the remnant of the trees of his forest shall be few, so that a child may write them.
