  14. Letthe high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand;

  15. Praise ye Jehovah. Praise God in his sanctuary: Praise him in the firmament of his power.

  16. Praise him for his mighty acts: Praise him according to his excellent greatness.

  17. Praise him with trumpet sound: Praise him with psaltery and harp.

  18. Praise him with timbrel and dance: Praise him with stringed instruments and pipe.

  19. Praise him with loud cymbals: Praise him with high sounding cymbals.

  20. Let everything that hath breath praise Jehovah. Praise ye Jehovah.

  21. As one that taketh off a garment in cold weather, and as vinegar upon soda, So is he that singeth songs to a heavy heart.

  22. I gathered me also silver and gold, and the treasure of kings and of the provinces; I gat me men-singers and women-singers, and the delights of the sons of men, musical instruments, and that of all sorts.

  23. And whatsoever mine eyes desired I kept not from them; I withheld not my heart from any joy; for my heart rejoiced because of all my labor; and this was my portion from all my labor.

  24. Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labor that I had labored to do; and, behold, all was vanity and a striving after wind, and there was no profit under the sun.

  25. And the harp and the lute, the tabret and the pipe, and wine, are in their feasts; but they regard not the work of Jehovah, neither have they considered the operation of his hands.
