  1. Thou art all fair, my love; And there is no spot in thee.

  8. Spikenard and saffron, Calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; Myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices.

  9. Thou arta fountain of gardens, A well of living waters, And flowing streams from Lebanon.

  10. Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; Blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden, And eat his precious fruits.

  11. Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord Jehovah, and thou becamest mine.

  12. Then washed I thee with water; yea, I thoroughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil.

  13. I clothed thee also with broidered work, and shod thee with sealskin, and I girded thee about with fine linen, and covered thee with silk.

  14. And I decked thee with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck.

  15. And I put a ring upon thy nose, and ear-rings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thy head.

  16. Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil; and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper unto royal estate.

  17. And thy renown went forth among the nations for thy beauty; for it was perfect, through my majesty which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord Jehovah.

  18. Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

  19. And five of them were foolish, and five were wise.

  20. For the foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them:

  21. but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

  22. Now while the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

  23. But at midnight there is a cry, Behold, the bridegroom! Come ye forth to meet him.

  24. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

  25. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are going out.
