  1. For how many soever be the promises of God, in him is the yea: wherefore also through him is the Amen, unto the glory of God through us.

  10. but their minds were hardened: for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remaineth, it not being revealed to them that it is done away in Christ.

  11. But whensoever it shall turn to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

  12. Now the Lord is the Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

  13. But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit.

  14. in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn upon them.

  15. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.

  16. Seeing it is God, that said, Light shall shine out of darkness, who shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

  17. always bearing about in the body the dying of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our body.

  18. For we who live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh.

  19. knowing that he that raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also with Jesus, and shall present us with you.

  20. Now he that wrought us for this very thing is God, who gave unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

  21. Being therefore always of good courage, and knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord

  22. we are of good courage, I say, and are willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord.

  23. Wherefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well-pleasing unto him.

  24. For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

  25. Knowing therefore the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest unto God; and I hope that we are made manifest also in your consciences.
