  11. All these were the children of Asher, heads of the fathers’ houses, choice and mighty men of valor, chief of the princes. And the number of them reckoned by genealogy for service in war was twenty and six thousand men.

  12. And of Asher, such as were able to go out in the host, that could set the battle in array, forty thousand.

  13. Nevertheless certain men of Asher and Manasseh and of Zebulun humbled themselves, and came to Jerusalem.

  14. And by the border of Dan, from the east side unto the west side, Asher, one portion.
