  1. `And now, fear ye Jehovah, and serve Him, in perfection and in truth, and turn aside the gods which your fathers served beyond the River, and in Egypt, and serve ye Jehovah;

  17. not according to command do I speak, but because of the diligence of others, and of your love proving the genuineness,

  18. the shewing therefore of your love, and of our boasting on your behalf, to them shew ye, even in the face of the assemblies.

  19. The servants! obey the masters according to the flesh with fear and trembling, in the simplicity of your heart, as to the Christ;

  20. not with eye-service as men-pleasers, but as servants of the Christ, doing the will of God out of soul,

  21. with good-will serving, as to the Lord, and not to men,

  22. The grace with all those loving our Lord Jesus Christ--undecayingly! Amen.

  23. for your proving the things that differ, that ye may be pure and offenceless--to a day of Christ,

  24. the one, indeed, of rivalry the Christ do proclaim, not purely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds,
