Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve him with a perfect and most sincere heart: and put away the gods which your fathers served in Mesopotamia and in Egypt, and serve the Lord.
And of Zabulon such as went forth to battle, and stood in array well appointed with armour for war, there came fifty thousand to his aid, with no double heart.
Conduct me, O Lord, in thy justice: because of my enemies, direct my way in thy sight.
Give praise to the Lord on the harp; sing to him with the psaltery, the instrument of ten strings.
But as for me, when they were troublesome to me, I was clothed with haircloth. I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer shall be turned into my bosom.
The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.
And said: I beseech thee, O Lord, remember how I have walked before thee in truth, and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Ezechias wept with great weeping.
So also shall my heavenly Father do to you, if you forgive not every one his brother from your hearts.
Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him and he saith of him: Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no guile.
But the hour cometh and now is, when the true adorers shall adore the Father in spirit and in truth. For the Father also seeketh such to adore him.
God is a spirit: and they that adore him must adore him in spirit and in truth.
Let love be without dissimulation. Hating that which is evil, cleaving to that which is good,
Therefore, let us feast, not with the old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness: but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatsoever else you do, do all to the glory of God.
For our glory is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity of heart and sincerity of God, and not in carnal wisdom, but in the grace of God, we have conversed in this world: and more abundantly towards you.
For we are not as many, adulterating the word of God: but with sincerity: but as from God, before God, in Christ we speak.
I speak not as commanding: but by the carefulness of others, approving also the good disposition of your charity.
Wherefore shew ye to them, in the sight of the churches, the evidence of your charity and of our boasting on your behalf.
Servants, be obedient to them that are your lords according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the simplicity of your heart, as to Christ.
Not serving to the eye, as it were pleasing men: but, as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart.
With a good will serving, as to the Lord, and not to men.
Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in incorruption. Amen.
That you may approve the better things: that you may be sincere and without offence unto the day of Christ:
Some out of charity, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.
For our exhortation was not of error, nor of uncleanness, nor in deceit.
