  1. Lo, the happiness of mortal man, God doth reprove him: And the chastisement of the Mighty despise not,

  21. And thou--watch in all things; suffer evil; do the work of one proclaiming good news; of thy ministration make full assurance,

  22. for also with my bonds ye sympathised, and the robbery of your goods with joy ye did receive, knowing that ye have in yourselves a better substance in the heavens, and an enduring one.

  23. for consider again him who endured such gainsaying from the sinners to himself, that ye may not be wearied in your souls--being faint.

  24. Not yet unto blood did ye resist--with the sin striving;

  25. and ye have forgotten the exhortation that doth speak fully with you as with sons, `My son, be not despising chastening of the Lord, nor be faint, being reproved by Him,
