Bible Verses About Wicked

The priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the LORD’s house.

Then spoke Jeremiah to all the princes and to all the people, saying, the LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that you have heard.

I will pursue after them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be tossed back and forth among all the kingdoms of the earth, to be an object of horror, and an astonishment, and a hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations where I have driven them;

because they have not listened to my words, says the LORD, with which I sent to them my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them; but you would not hear, says the LORD.

For thus says the LORD, Your hurt is incurable, and your wound grievous.

There is no one to plead your cause, that you may be bound up: you have no healing medicines.

All your lovers have forgotten you; they don’t seek you: for I have wounded you with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the greatness of your iniquity, because your sins were increased.

Why do you cry for your hurt? Your pain is incurable: for the greatness of your iniquity, because your sins were increased, I have done these things to you.

The cities that are inhabited shall be laid waste, and the land shall be a desolation; and you shall know that I am the LORD.

Yet you have not walked in their ways, nor done after their abominations; but, soon you were more corrupt than they in all your ways.

Son of man, speak to the elders of Israel, and tell them, Thus says the Lord GOD: Is it to inquire of me that you have come? As I live, says the Lord GOD, I will not be inquired of by you.

When I tell the wicked, O wicked man, you shall surely die, and you don’t speak to warn the wicked from his way; that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at your hand.
