  1. “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.

  24. Then Joshua built an altar to the LORD, the God of Israel, in Mount Ebal,

  25. as Moses the servant of the LORD commanded the children of Israel, as it is written in the scroll of the Torah of Moses, an altar of uncut stones, on which no man had lifted up any iron. They offered burnt offerings on it to the LORD, and sacrificed peace offerings.
