Isaiah

He sent Eliakim, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, to Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz.

So the servants of king Hezekiah came to Isaiah.

Isaiah said to them, “Thus you shall tell your master, ‘Thus says the LORD, “Don’t be afraid of the words that you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, “Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, ‘Whereas you have prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria, I have heard you.

In those days was Hezekiah sick to death. Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said to him, “Thus says the LORD, ‘Set your house in order; for you shall die, and not live.’”

Before Isaiah had gone out into the middle part of the city, the LORD’s word came to him, saying,

Isaiah said, “Take a cake of figs.” They took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.

Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “What shall be the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I shall go up to the LORD’s house the third day?”

Isaiah said, “This shall be the sign to you from the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he has spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten steps, or go back ten steps?”

Isaiah the prophet cried to the LORD; and he brought the shadow ten steps backward, by which it had gone down on the dial of Ahaz.

Then Isaiah the prophet came to king Hezekiah, and said to him, “What did these men say? From where did they come to you?” Hezekiah said, “They have come from a far country, even from Babylon.”

Isaiah said to Hezekiah, “Hear the LORD’s word.

Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “the LORD’s word which you have spoken is good.” He said moreover, “Isn’t it so, if peace and truth shall be in my days?”

Now the rest of the acts of Uzziah, first and last, Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, wrote.

Hezekiah the king, and Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz, prayed because of this, and cried to heaven.

Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and his good deeds, behold, they are written in the vision of Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz, in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.

The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

This is what Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

Then the LORD said to Isaiah, “Go out now to meet Ahaz, you, and Shearjashub your son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool, on the highway of the fuller’s field.

The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz saw:

at that time the LORD spoke by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, “Go, and loosen the sackcloth from off your waist, and take your shoes from off your feet.” He did so, walking naked and barefoot.

The LORD said, “As my servant Isaiah has walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and a wonder concerning Egypt and concerning Ethiopia,
