  1. I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever,—

  2. the Spirit of truth, whom the world can’t receive; for it doesn’t see him, neither knows him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you.

  6. However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming.

  7. When he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit!

  8. until the day in which he was received up, after he had given commandment through the Holy Spirit to the emissaries whom he had chosen.

  9. For Yochanan indeed immersed in water, but you will be immersed in the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

  10. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.”

  11. “Brothers, it was necessary that this Scripture should be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke before by the mouth of David concerning Judah, who was guide to those who took Yeshua.

  22. Therefore select from among you, brothers, seven men of good report, full of the Holy Spirit and of wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.
