  1. ¶ In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

  18. But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

  19. And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

  20. For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

  21. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

  22. Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

  23. Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.

  24. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

  25. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
