  1. To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

  2. And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

  15. But had certain questions against him of their own superstition, and of one Jesus, which was dead, whom Paul affirmed to be alive.

  16. That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.

  17. And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

  18. Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

  19. Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

  20. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

  21. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

  22. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

  23. And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

  24. After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

  25. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
