  1. Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

  2. For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.

  3. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

  4. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;

  9. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

  10. I and my Father are one.

  11. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

  12. As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

  13. Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

  14. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

  15. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

  16. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

  17. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

  18. Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

  19. Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

  20. And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

  21. Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

  22. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

  23. For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

  24. And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

  25. And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
